The Alberta government has issued a bulletin on March 15th on flights with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Passengers in the affected seats of these flights are considered close contacts and are at risk of exposure. Public health officials recommend individuals in affected seats self-isolate for 14 days after arrival in Canada and monitor for symptoms. Other passengers are not required to self-isolate but should self-monitor for 14 days after arrival in Canada. If symptoms occur, please complete an online COVID-19 self-assessment. This document will be updated with new information about affected flights as the government receives it.
Please review this bulletin and notify your manager/supervisor immediately if you were a passenger on the affected seats/flights.
Managers and Supervisors – please distribute to your employees who do not have a Backwoods email addresses and notify Jacqueline Jackson of any affected employees.
