For Immediate Release Backwoods Energy Services Announces Departure of Chief Executive Officer
Edmonton, Alberta — April 28, 2026 — Backwoods Energy Services LP (“Backwoods”) announces that Dario has made the personal decision to step down as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 8.
Dario has provided important leadership during a transformative period for the business. Under his leadership, and through the efforts of Team Backwoods, the company has stabilized its operations, strengthened its foundation, and positioned itself for long-term sustainability and continued growth. Backwoods remains well positioned moving forward, with a strong leadership team, a clear operating structure, and an ongoing focus on delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality services to clients, partners, and the communities we serve.
The Board of Directors has begun the search process for Dario’s successor. In the interim, the Board Chair, Ian Anderson, will serve as Chief Executive. Day-to-day operations and management will continue to be led by Andrew Gibson, Jeremy Yee, and Ashley Fontaine, ensuring continuity for employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
